Beware the Pied Piper

Whle I was in one of our local super boxstores today, a young girl - probably a college student, was asking people who they would rather see as the Democrat Party nominee - Clinton or Obama. My answer was thus:

Obama has perpetuated the biggest con the public has ever seen. What enables voters to fall for his scam is that people are more interested in sound bites and instant gratification. Most folk have no interest in spending more than a minute or so examining facts, thinkng, and making independent decisions. Add the fact that most college students aren't learning anything of real practical value - real life, that is - it's very easy to clamor for a politician, and that's what Obama is - who promises nirvana.

The kid looked at me for a minte or so, obviously trying to think, then finally stated "..but he's a unifier."

No wonder I believe we may all be screwed in the end.
